I don’t know if we can do anything as powerful as influence the Realm. I asked one of the leaders about it, and they said that if it was that easy anyone could do it, and then they’d have control over it completely.
[ what’s the best way to phrase it. ]
Subtle suggestion, maybe?
Removal probably always meant death but it didn’t have to be by public execution.
If that is the case, does this mean we've the chance to subtly influence how the Realm perceives "removal"? At the very least, there is no need for the executions to be so... graphic.
[But even as he says this, his mouth is already pulling into a frown]
Though I suppose it'd be foolish to think any of us will associate the "removals" with a gentler handling.
I asked about that and it doesn't sound like it would be easy. Like I said, if influencing the Realm was that easy it'd be open to be manipulated and controlled by anyone and it's... well, it sounds like it's got ways to protect itself.
It might be possible? But it'd take a lot. And what Virid did changed things, a lot. It... might not work like that anymore. They weren't able to be completely clear about it, because I don't think the leaders fully know themselves.
[ joke's on you, she doesn't have a clue. instead she just sighs. ]
Wolf said that Virid killing Hajime wasn't meant to happen, and we need to think about why he killed her.
It isn't possible he knew that killing her would bring his memories back, so something or someone gave him the idea. According to Wolf, he hinted it to some people but never specifically said who gave him the idea, but asking around for more information might help.
I guess... to see if anyone remembers him saying something strange?
It might help us understand how he realised killing would bring his memories back. Or... who told him, so we could find out how they knew.
[ she looks thoughtful ]
I don't know. I... believe them when they say they don't have much more knowledge than we do. But we don't know everything about each other, as a group, so I can't say for certain if they're the same. One of them could know more and be using that knowledge, I suppose?

[ ... oh. ]
Did you know who Virid was close to?
